Bienvenue à notre podcast.  Voici notre première expérience d’enregistrement pour la plupart, en français.  Pouvons-nous aider le monde francophone avec leurs dilemmes?
Yes, Kat and Nat are coming to the aid of French speakers from the internet with problems to solve.  Hear our first outing speaking mostly in French.  We are by no means experts in French, which you may notice lol!  But as French residents, we know how to work our way around this beautiful language!
Fear not, we do give a summary of each problem and the advice we give in English for those with rusty to no French.
Join us and let us know what you think.  Was the advice given in French just as good as the advice given in our mother tongue?

25. Dystopian TV – What in the World!!

Join us this week as we summarise what we’ve been watching on the telly.  We talk about two shows with dystopian realities; “Snowpiercer” and “Shadow and Bones”.  From the onset we were a little confused about the plot and the new worlds we were launched into.  But during our conversation, everything came flooding back, made total sense and we think we’ve done a good job at our TV Show Reviews.  But we’ll let you be the judge.  As always, we have a giggle as we dissect the shows and this episode contains huge spoilers!

23. Remembering Dad

The end of April marks the 1st year anniversary of the loss of our beloved father, John Anderson.  Join us for a special memorial episode as we remember his early life, parenting style and effervescent character.  We illustrate our reflections with stories which induce laughter for the most part.  Dad was hilarious, unique and one of a kind.  He was so many things and we cannot remember him justly, without giggling at the things he used to say and do!
In this sitting, we speak about dad for over 2 hours but could have easily spoken about him for a further 4 hours!  There is so much to say about our father.  He was such an influential and important figure in our lives and we are eternally grateful and proud to be his daughters.
We acknowledge that this past year, in particular, has been so difficult for so many of us, with grief, loss, hardship and heartache.  Some may find this episode triggering – if so, do exercise self-care and skip to another episode.
Our aim was to paint a picture of a wonderful man and brilliant father.
We miss you dad XXXXX

Join us this week as we soak up the sun on the terrasse.  We’re having a chilled one and discuss getting sunburnt, customer service and moving out of London.  We also regale about the wonderful day we had playing pétanque.  Kat was amazing, winning 2 out of 2 games! Was this beginners luck or is Kat the new Pétanque champ?  Who knows? But what we do know is that this has got to be our new favourite pastime – we’re taking to village life extremely well.
